A Collection of Horror Stories

That's Probably Nothing

A collection of horror stories about the moment something strange first appears and the terrible decisions people make when they choose to ignore it. Featuring online obsession, corrupted technology, body horror, brutal encounters and eyes that no longer see the world properly, these stories begin with ordinary lives and follow them somewhere much worse.

04 About

Jon Hargreaves

Jon Hargreaves is a UK-based writer of horror, thrillers and YA fantasy, usually interested in ordinary people facing impossible situations and making exactly the wrong decisions.

His work includes the horror collection That's Probably Nothing, an untitled psychological courtroom novel and the folk horror film treatment Sixteen Days. He is also the author of Shadowbound: The Grim Heir, the first instalment in a YA fantasy series about death, family, destiny and a teenager inheriting responsibilities far beyond the living world. Think sprawling magical adventure, morally questionable forces of Heaven and Hell, and considerably fewer boarding-school scarves.
